Jira Rollout · Workshop 2

Pulse check results

Melbourne Airport Rail, Stage 1 · Workshop 2, 20 August 2026 · 7 matched start and end responses.
The start check was taken as people arrived, so it already reflects the kick-off and Workshop 1.

Because participants had already been through the kick-off and Workshop 1, the results separate into two parts. Belief that the move matters, and that people are supported, was already established and held steady. What this session moved was capability: confidence, and knowing how to do the work.

Already established

The why and the support

Understanding of why we are moving to Jira (4.43) and feeling supported (3.86) were both high on arrival and did not change over the session. The kick-off, Workshop 1 and the wider engagement leading into them have done this work.

Moved this session

Confidence and know-how

These two had the most room to move coming in, and each rose by about a full point once people built a real Works Notice: confidence 2.86 to 3.71, know-how 2.71 to 3.71.

Conclusion

By the start of Workshop 2, participants already understood why the move matters and felt supported, so the kick-off, Workshop 1 and the engagement before them have established the buy-in the rollout needs. This session added capability: among those who completed both surveys, confidence rose 0.85 and practical know-how 1.00 on the five-point scale, with no one declining on any measure. Capability came from doing the work rather than from being shown it, which supports keeping the drop-ins hands-on and focused on real use. These are encouraging results to build on.
